IN LATAVA, when the often-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) takes a job as a bartender and removes shoes at the local AlleyCatz bowling alley, he feels that he has finally found a home. When the AlleyCatz are threatened with financial trouble, Walt is pressured by ex-bowler and current drunk Skoons (D’Arcy Cardenas) to take on the role of the greatest bowler to ever grace the earth. While the professional tour is dominated by Walt’s love of big checks and outspoken style of play, his detractors include ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and retired bowling legend Linda «The Crusher» Curson (Susan).
