Andy Serkis was interested in returning to directly following his involvement with Venom 2 (2021), but was unable to do so due to his commitments to Animal Farm (2025) (which he had previously delayed in order to direct the former), so screenwriter Kelly Marcel took over as director for this movie. In an establishing shot of Las Vegas, you can see the Sphere, a structure completed and opened in 2023. However in the movie Eddie mentions that he and Venom have been together for a year.

The first Venom movie takes place in 2018 so that makes this movie take place in 2019, 4 years before the Sphere should exist.. Venom: Eddie… Featured in The 7PM Project: Episode dated 25 October 2024 (2024).
The ending felt mishandled, and the credit scene left me scratching my head, diminishing the impact of the climax
Venom: The Last Dance had a slow build-up before the interval, but I held out hope that things would pick up-and they did! The action scenes in the second half were more than impressive, delivering some intense moments.Tom Hardy, as always, nailed the role of Eddie Brock, bringing the character to life effortlessly. However, the storyline felt a bit underwhelming at times, though it managed to keep me engaged throughout.While the movie was entertaining, it’s more of a one-time watch.
